Why I Chose Stetson:

I chose Stetson because of the small class sizes since I wanted to be able to easily ask questions in class. Stetson gave me opportunities to more easily connect with my professors and get involved on campus. I also love the small campus and being able to easily walk around, including downtown DeLand. I get to see many familiar faces and friends walking around daily which feels really good.

Involvements on Campus:

Neuropsychology Lab Research Assistant, Young Life Stetson, Student Conduct Board, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Student Ambassador

What I Like to Do on Weekends:

I love going on trips with SOAR (Stetson Outdoor Adventure Recreation) such as going kayaking or camping. I love DeLeon Springs and nearby beaches as well.

My Favorite Class at Stetson:

It's hard to choose a favorite class, but one of my favorites is Biological Psychology. It's closely related to my career goals, and I loved being able to learn things I can apply to day-to-day life.

Advice to Prospective Students:

Get involved! Get on Engage and find events and clubs to attend. Don't stay in your dorm all day because Stetson has so many things to offer daily, like even free exercise classes, so make the most of it.

Favorite Place on Campus:

I like Palm Court because it's so pretty and I enjoy attending fun events there, and of course seeing our famous Groomba (robot lawn mower).
