Milt graduated from Stetson in 1982 with a BBA after having originally entered Stetson as a music major. He completed his MBA in 1983. He was also a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.
Mr. Douglass joined Cavium Inc., a provider of integrated semiconductor microprocessors, and served from 2012 – 2018 as EVP of Worldwide Sales. He retired from Cavium in 2018 after it was acquired by Marvell. Prior to Cavium, Milt worked in various marketing, engineering and sales capacities for Intel Corporation, ST Micro, and Harris Semiconductor (Intersil). Milt has also provided executive consulting services to several Silicon Valley based startups post 2018.
Upon his retirement from Cavium, Milt returned to Florida where he lives with his wife Lisa Douglass. Ms. Douglass spent much of her career at Intel Corporation, along with other Semiconductor roles at Motorola, Texas Instruments, AOS Semiconductor, and Altera Corporation. Milt continues to work as managing director for Douglass Holdings and is an adjunct professor at Stetson, where he also co-founded Hatter Angel Network with alumnus Dan Glunt ’93 and served on the board of AQUACO. Milt and Lisa spend considerable time, talent, and treasure with Halifax Humane Society; Jameson Humane; Project Recover; Girls and Boys Club of Napa, and Habitat for Humanity. Lisa and Milt split time in California at their farm in Napa, where they spend time in their vineyard plus other vintner pursuits.
Milt and Lisa enjoy golf, physical fitness, skiing, and travel as well as certifications in sailing and scuba diving. They enjoy spending time with their children Ally, Alec and Nick in San Francisco, New York City and Phoenix.
Milt joined the School of Business Board of Advisors in 2016, and he was elected to the Board of Trustees in February 2025.
