Since its founding in 1883, Stetson's College of Arts & Sciences has prepared students for informed, compassionate, and engaged lives. A core curriculum in liberal studies develops breadth of understanding and serious engagement with principles of ethical decision-making. Building on that foundation, advanced study, selected from more than 40 majors and minors, fosters depth of knowledge.

Undergraduate programs -- We offer more than 40 majors and minors.Graduate programs The College of Arts & Sciences offers graduate programs in English, counselor education, and teacher education.
Curriculum in liberal studies -- The general education requirements give students a breadth of understanding and serious engagement with principles of ethical decision-making.
Undergraduate research -- Advanced disciplinary study and an independent research project are fundamental components of the Stetson experience.
Special programs & initiatives -- Students can take part in exciting programs that include study abroad, the Washington semester, the Stetson Institute for Social Research, and the University's values commitments.
