What I Like to Do on Weekends:

On the weekends I like to catch up with friends, about the week and next week's plans. I also enjoy taking walks around campus.

My Favorite Class at Stetson:

All my classes are great and I love how they overlap with each other. Which is what I was going for when scheduling. I will say though it's a toss-up between Intro to Asian Religions with Professor Christopher Bell and Literature In The World (Transgression and Exile) with Professor Hannah Markley. Dr. Bell's passion shows through his teaching and interactive discussions with students. He is a great storyteller. I love that we can talk about our Anime experiences with him and how they pertain to course materials, Dr. Bell just gets what we are talking about. Dr. Markley does a top-tier job of breaking down difficult and confusing texts like Wuthering Heights. She makes reading and discussions vibrant and resonating. I find myself identifying Transgressions and Exiles in Dr. Bell's class and vice versa. I love it because it helps me retain more information in both classes.

Advice to Prospective Students:

Regardless of major, bring at least two business outfits. Stetson is very big on networking and there are a lot of events that have a business dress code, you'll be glad you brought them. Also to quote a fellow hatter "Be visible not just present" Alijah Santos. Get out there and interact, join organizations, and engage in cultures and worldviews different from your own.

Favorite Place on Campus:

The Cross Cultural Center (Tri-C) one of the melting pots on Stetson's diverse Campus. The conversations and exposure to people of different cultures. Then you find out that it's not that big of a difference.
