Why I Chose Stetson:

Stetson was very accommodating to my personal and financial circumstances. The students and staff were very kind to me, and I felt like this was a place where I could grow not only academically but personally.

Involvements on Campus:

Wesley Resident Internship, FOCUS Orientation Leader, Student Ambassadors, Latinx Student Union

What I Like to Do on Weekends:

I use my downtime to decompress because I am very involved during the weekdays with both academic and social activities. So, I like to use my weekends to relax which could be staying in and watching my comfort movies or going to the beach.

My Favorite Class at Stetson:

My favorite class at Stetson right now is Political Analysis 325. The professor is very kind, and we do hands-on work that allows us to be prepared for a career in politics.

Advice to Prospective Students:

Focus on your studies while gaining the academic support you need. However, don't forget to have fun. Stetson has many opportunities for personal growth and hosts many fun events throughout the semester. Create a balance of both.

Favorite Place on Campus:

My favorite place on campus is the Cross-Cultural Center. As a Latina student, there are many resources available in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. I go there many times either for support or just to be around amazing people.
