Brandon Draper

Brandon Draper is the Director of the Trial Advocacy Center for the South Texas College of Law Houston, where he is responsible for leading all trial advocacy programs at STCL Houston. Brandon previously served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA), where he was the Co-Chair of the National Trial Competition (NTC) and oversaw their transition to fully virtual competitions in 2021 and back to in-person competitions in 2022. From 2022-22, he was the Assistant Director of National Mock Trial Team and an Adjunct Professor for the University of Houston Law Center. His criminal law and election law scholarship has been published in the Northwestern University Law Review, Boston College Law Review, Marquette University Law Review, Elon Law Review, and Southwestern Law Review.

Brandon graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law and magna cum laude from Binghamton University. He was the Co-Captain of Maryland’s National Trial Team and served as an Associate Editor for the law school’s Journal of Business & Technology Law.
