Flex JD Career Services

Stetson Law’s Office of Career and Professional Development is here to help guide, coach, and provide support throughout your law school journey and beyond. The Office of Career and Professional Development realizes that the Flex JD students may have different career trajectories and needs than their full-time colleagues, which is why we have specific resources to provide you with the guidance and support you need. We understand that our Flex students come to us with varying backgrounds and rich experience, all of which we take into consideration as we help you in the next chapter of your career journey.

We offer individualized counseling sessions along with group workshops for Flex students that are cognizant of your background, circumstances, and career aspirations. Our individual counseling sessions and group workshops focus on an array of different topics including career strategy and transition, career research, document preparation and publishing, decision making, and mentoring. Furthermore, our office works to design and build effective, insight-based tools, products, services, and other useful offerings through which we aim to serve the specific needs of the Flex JD students.

Meet Ryan Harvey

I am the Assistant Director for Flex JD Career and Professional Development, which means that I am specifically dedicated to the Career and Professional Development of the Flex JD students. You will hear from me during your first semester, and I will meet with each of you early, and hopefully often. As I am specifically dedicated to the Flex JD students, and as the program denotes, I maintain a flexible calendar and will work with each Flex student to ensure that I can meet with you at a date and time that works for your personal schedule.
