Child Advocates of Stetson Law

The student organization Child Advocates of Stetson Law serves as a way to connect law students who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children through legal advocacy and community engagement efforts. We work to recruit law students to become Guardian ad Litem volunteers, mentors, and leaders within the legal realm to advocate on behalf of the best interests of some of society's most vulnerable populations. Our organization has three goals: to connect current child advocates, recruit more law students with a passion for helping others, and to engage in community service projects that benefit the populations we serve. We also host networking events for dedicated members of our organization with opportunities to interact with key leaders in child welfare in Florida such as notable judges, attorneys, and politicians.
