Family and Non-Professional Guardian Education Program

Welcome to the Family and Non-Professional Guardian Education Program presented by Stetson University College of Law.

Thank you for agreeing to become a guardian for your loved one. This is a great responsibility that comes with many challenges, but also the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on someone's life.  You have important responsibilities to ensure that their needs are met and their rights are protected. These courses were created to provide you with important information and training on how to effectively fulfill your responsibilities as a guardian.

These fully online courses are available on-demand, allowing you to pause and resume the course at your convenience. Please ensure you review your court order to verify any specific deadlines for course completion.

Please Note: These courses were created for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida (Pasco and Pinellas Counties). These courses may not fulfill training requirements outside of the Sixth Circuit.

If you have an approved application for indigency from the court, please email [email protected] prior to registering for your course.

Your Court Order should specify which of the courses below you need to take. If you have any questions, please contact your attorney.
