Disaster Symposium

Date: March 15-16, 2023
Location: Stetson University College of Law

Description/Synopsis: The 2023 Disaster Resilience Symposium will bring together legal, academic, and community voices instrumental in disaster law and the resilience movement. Keynote presentations and discussion panels will spotlight current and emerging issues in disaster response and preparedness. Participants will engage in discussions surrounding the latest trends in disaster academia, systemic issues, and the future of disaster response and preparedness with a lens towards building resiliency in the face of climate-related and human-made disasters.
