Regional and National Qualifying Rounds
Note: Teams must compete in a regional or participate in the memorial-only qualifying round to advance to the International Finals.
- West Africa

- Participants
- Teams from China (including Makao and Hong Kong), Guam, Japan, Mongolia, Saipan, Taiwan, and Korea must participate in the East Asia Regional Round to advance to the International Finals.
- Teams from other Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, and Russia (but excluding India and ASEAN member states), will be allowed to participate at the East Asia Regional Rounds in Seoul.
