Stetson Student-Athletes Continue Good Work With Canned Food Drive
Stetson’s Athletics Department and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee have made an incredible impact through their annual canned food drive over the past two years.
Since 2018, Stetson student-athletes have collected over 9,100 canned food items, which they have donated to the Neighborhood Center of West Volusia, as well as the Hatter Pantry on Stetson’s campus.
Utilizing Trick-Or-Treating over the past two years, student-athletes from Stetson have gone from house-to-house in nearby communities asking people to donate to their canned food drive.
Combined with efforts from other ASUN campuses, the league has donated nearly 25,000 items to local food banks and organizations — with Stetson leading the way in each of the last two years.
