Students will present their recommendations for approval by the RGIP trustees from 5-6:30 p.m. on the DeLand campus at the Marshall & Vera Lea Rinker Welcome Center.

Following the ESG, Artificial Intelligence, Cannabis, Virtual Realty 4, and Drones 9 indices approved in past years, RGIP students will launch a new index — Pawerful Pet — focusing on the pet industry.  In addition, many of the stocks selected by the students for this meeting have been adversely affected by the current international trade war.  Students will argue that as a result of the conflict, this is the time to buy the heavily beaten down stocks.

Who: The Stetson University School of Business Administration Roland George Investments Program.  RGIP is known for having one of the nation’s oldest and best market performances and is directed entirely by Stetson University students. The pioneering program empowers students to manage a portfolio comprising $3.5 million in real money invested in stocks and bonds.
