Stetson Law hosts Diversity and Inclusion in the U.S.: A Discussion Post-Charlottesville
Stetson University College of Law hosted a panel on “Diversity and Inclusion in the U.S.: A Discussion Post-Charlottesville,” on Aug. 24.
“The goal was to begin a campus-wide discussion as the year begins and join in community to support one another,” said Assistant Dean for Student Affairs Tammy Briant, who moderated the panel.
Dozens of campus community members attended the discussion on the Gulfport campus, with panelists Associate Dean Darryl Wilson, professors James Fox, Lance Long, Luz Nagle, Ann Piccard and Ellen Podgor fielding questions from the audience.
The discussion was hosted by Stetson’s Inclusive Implementation Strategy Group, along with the co-chairs of the law school’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee.
