Friday February 28, 2025, 7:00pm-11:00pm Location: TradeWinds Resort on St. Pete Beach 5600 Gulf Boulevard St. Pete Beach, FL 33706 Theme: Coastal Soiree Transportation:Safe rides will depart from the College of Law starting at 6:30 pm shuttling guests to TradeWinds. Buses will run to and from TradeWinds until 11:30pm. Please get on an early safe ride as space is limited and not guaranteed. Self-parking is available at the venue on a first come first serve basis. There is a fee associated with self-parking. Please check with the venue for pricing. Self-parking is also available on the College of Law campus. There is no fee associated with that option. As a reminder, safe rides will shuttle guests between campus and TradeWinds. NOTE: Share rides like Uber or Lyft are encouraged. If you transfer your ticket to another student, you must complete the 2025 Barristers Ball Ticket Transfer Form on Engage. Note: You will not be admitted unless the name on your ticket matches the final guest list, so transfers MUST fill out the Transfer Ticket form.RulesBy purchasing a ticket you agree that you have read and understand the following rules for the event: Student’s behavior at the event and on safe rides is subject to Stetson College of Law Code of Student Professionalism and Conduct. Misconduct could result in disciplinary action. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco products are absolutely prohibited in the Facilities including outdoor spaces. No unauthorized recreational devices or drones. No outside food or beverages (including alcoholic and nonalcoholic) are allowed on the safe rides or at TradeWinds. The State of Florida requires that no one under the age of 21 will be served alcohol. As a result, TradeWinds reserves the right to verify age and the right to refrain from serving alcohol to any guest under 21 years of age. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY: Balloon drops, confetti, glitter, rice, sparklers, silly string, candle wax and other similar items. The offending guest will incur an extra fee of $2,500.00. A $250.00 minimum cleaning fee will apply for any guest who vomits. The guest will incur the cleaning fee of $250.00. TradeWinds shall have the right to eject or cause to be ejected from the Facilities any person or persons whose conduct is unlawful or otherwise objectionable to TradeWinds, in its sole discretion. TradeWinds shall have the right to make announcements at any time during the Event in the interest of public safety, proper operation of the Facilities, crowd control, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, orders, rules, and regulations. TradeWinds shall not have any responsibility for the damage or loss of any personal property, merchandise or articles left in the Facilities before, during or after the Event. Any student or guest who is visibly intoxicated, acting disorderly, or deemed unfit to remain at the event may be asked to leave or be removed from the event by event staff, security, or College of Law staff. No refund will be given. Any student or guest who arrives in a substantially impaired state will not be granted entry to the event. Jackets, purses, and bags may be inspected before admittance. No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted. The use of any illegal drug is not permitted. Attempting to bring drugs to the venue will result in your entry being denied. Bring valuables at your own risk. TradeWinds and Stetson University College of Law are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Any additional rules or instructions provided by event staff, security, or the Office of Student Affairs must be followed without question. By purchasing a ticket and attending the Barrister’s Ball you are consenting to your photograph being taken by the photographer on site. All attending students will have access to these photographs following the event.
