On Nov. 19, TimesUnion reported that Stetson students Correy Karbiener and Taylor Ryan won the sixth annual National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. Also over the weekend, Stetson Law student Darnesha Carter tied to win best advocate at the Mercer University College of Law Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition in Macon, Ga.

Christopher Ferguson, Ph.D., associate professor and co-chair of Psychology, shared his opinions on the publicity behind the attacks in Paris with Yahoo! Health on Nov. 19.

On Nov. 23, The Los Angeles Times quoted Professor Michael Allen in an article titled “VA is buried in a backlog of never-ending veterans disability appeals.”

A 2014 study from Stetson University, 1996-2011, indicating no link between violent video games and aggression, was cited in WFLX.com.

News 13 Your Overnight News, Orlando Politics, and Orlando Suntimes featured Stetson University’s panel discussion on terrorism and faith regarding the recent attacks in Paris on Nov. 23.

Roberta Smith Favis, Ph.D., professor emeritus of art history at Stetson University, was quoted in an article from Ormond Beach Observer on Nov. 24 titled “Museum celebrates anniversary with special exhibit.”

The Daytona Beach News-Journal, Nov. 25, reported that Stetson University and all other area colleges and universities would be closed Thursday/Friday for Thanksgiving holiday.
