• Chaplain Lewis C. Long III wrote the editorial, “Fond Memories of Don Musser,” in the May 25 West Volusia Beacon. Musser, professor of Religious Studies, Emeritus, passed away March 12.

• Andrew Appleby, assistant professor of Law, was quoted May 27 in “Feds Urge SCOTUS Not to Review New Hampshire’s Remote Worker Tax Suit” on taxnotes.com.

• Mark Wateska, former director of strength and conditioning for Stetson football under head coach Roger Hughes since 2015, has been named director of athletics at Doane University. Hughes was named the new Doane University president on May 7. Wateska’s appointment was reported on sandhillsexpress.com and numerous other media outlets.
