Stetson beach volleyball graduate Rachel Noble has been selected to the ASUN Spring Winners for Life team, the conference office announced on Tuesday, July 16.  The award is given each semester to one student-athlete from each conference school who best demonstrates the ASUN’s core values: education, honesty, student-athlete experience, fairness, health, ambition, respect, diversity, inclusion, leadership, responsibility and sportsmanship.

A recent NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee, Noble earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Business and graduated with a 3.82 cumulative GPA.  She twice earned ASUN Beach Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and was named to the ASUN All-Academic Team three times.

Noble served as Stetson’s SAAC Co-President while earning the Stetson Business Foundation Merit Award and the Wendell Jarrard Award during her career. The ASUN SAAC Social Media Coordinator also received the R. Dale Melching Leadership Award while being named to the Stetson Dean’s List eight times. The senior has gained valuable professional experience as a Development Intern at the NASCAR Foundation and also as a Summer Sport Management Staff member at IMG Academy.

Stetson’s all-time winningest player, Noble finished the 2019 campaign with a 27-13 record at the No. 3 pair including 12 wins against ranked opponents. The Carlsbad, Calif., native registered a 96-45 (.681) career record with those 96 wins setting new ASUN Conference and Stetson records. In the NCAA Tournament, Noble helped the Hatters become the first No. 8 seed to beat a No. 1 seed as Stetson upset top-ranked USC in its first match. Stetson ended the season ranked No. 6 in the nation.
