Stetson University Concert Choir to Launch 2019 Spring Tour

The 52 students in the Stetson University Concert Choir will spend Spring Break on tour in early March, singing in communities, churches and schools from Gainesville and the Florida Panhandle to Atlanta.

“The choir is singing beautifully this spring and will be amazing student ambassadors on behalf of Stetson ‘on the road,’” said Timothy Peter, D.M.A., interim dean of the Stetson School of Music and professor of Music.

The select 52-voice choir, under the direction of Peter, is looking forward to making connections with musical communities, churches, Stetson alumni and outstanding high school choral programs during their spring break on March 4-8.  The Concert Choir will present their final performance of the year on the DeLand campus on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Lee Chapel.
