CULTURAL CREDIT

Starts: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 @ 2:30 p.m.
Ends: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 @ 4:30 p.m.
Location: Museum of Art Deland 2NDSTAGE

Description: Gameplay or "The First Rehearsal" - This workshop gives an introduction to games and theories that world-renowned Theater Company Complicite uses to train students. National Theater Institute students participate in these games during a 2-week residency with Complicite as a part of our semester-long training programs. We will play about 5 games (played for about 20 minutes each). All games are intended to get students more aware of physical awareness, group awareness, playfulness, rhythm, objectives, wins/losses (on stage and during the game), and more. It's a great workshop for directors who are trying to connect their cast for actors to bond.
