Mythological Round Table

Description: This group, composed of members of the greater DeLand community and Stetson University, meets every 2nd Monday of every month to explore the relevance of mythology (the wisdom stories of our ancestors) in today's world, most importantly how myths can impact one's own life. We learn how our personal stories connect to The Great Story, or what the most famous of mythology scholars, Joseph Campbell, named "The Hero's Journey." We view videos of Campbell's work, and we explore their relationship to the works of Carl Gustav Jung, Depth Psychology, and storytelling in general.
