F, Expand and Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: 

VCEE Grant

The Volusia Center for Excellence in Education (VCEE) is in year two of a three-year project to improve teacher effectiveness by building deeper core subject knowledge and improving field experience for pre-service K-5 teachers. The VCEE is an innovative partnership between Bethune-Cookman University, New Teacher Center, Stetson University and Volusia County Schools (VCS). 

Relationship with the School of Asian and Russian Studies (SRAS)

Stetson became the official School of Record for the School of Asian and Russian Studies (SRAS) for two of its programs in Russia in the Fall 2016 semester. Under this agreement, Stetson’s Program in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (SPREES) will partner with SRAS to admit and support students.

Peace Corps Prep Program

Stetson has signed a memo of agreement (MOA) enrolling the University in the Peace Corps Prep Program. This program allows students interested in becoming Peace Corps Volunteers to take a series of courses and perform community service in order to strengthen their applications for appointment
