The Office of Career Development again saw a 500 percent increase in the past three years in number of student on-campus interviews, with 395 students participating last year. The department is working to initiate more diversity for students using this process to align with employer requirements.
ABA Standard 316
The American Bar Association proposed an amendment to Standard 316 to require that law school graduates who sit for the bar exam pass at a rate of 75 percent or higher within two years of their date of graduation. If passed by the House of Delegates, the amended Standard takes effect in July 2017.
