Initiation of the Centurion Sales Excellence Program. John Riggs, D.B.A., professor of practice in marketing and executive director of the Centurion Sales Program, has joined our faculty in this new role. Prior to joining us, he participated in the curriculum development for a major and minor in sales.

Completion of Integration of Former “Boundless Learning” Corporate Effort with the School of Business Graduate Programs. Under the leadership of Mary Jo Jackson, Ph.D., the Professional and Corporate Education (PaCE) unit is now completely integrated with our graduate program effort. The resulting structure will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our graduate and corporate outreach programs by creating synergy in the recruitment and execution of these programs tailored to provide on-going degree and non-degree education to the Central Florida adult community.

Founding of the Templeton Case Competition. Through their generous support, the Stetson Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative sponsors the Templeton Case Competition each spring semester. This competition, for undergraduate students from invited institutions, gives students an opportunity to sharpen their analytical, critical-thinking and presentations skills as they develop an executive summary of their analysis of a specified case and present to a panel of judges.
