Vincent Leffler

Chemistry (Biochemistry)

In addition to his exceptional academic performance, Vincent is known in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for always demonstrating great perseverance and initiative in his work. He is honest, well organized and incredibly hard-working. He has demonstrated excellent teamwork skills and a desire to help his peers succeed.

Vincent excelled in the laboratory, working to synthesize functionalized Phosphorus Dendrimers bound to lithium ions, which can have applications in the development of new lithium battery technology. On a personal level, Vincent is disciplined, respectful and always faces challenges with a pleasant personality and a high sense of integrity. He will soon be defending his Honors Program credo and leaving Stetson for the many future successes that lie ahead. Vincent is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and the Stetson University Honors Program. He is also part of the rowing team at Stetson.

After graduation, Vincent plans to take a gap year and gather experience in a dental office. He intends to enter dental school and hopes to conduct research while pursuing his DMD.
