Talia Culotta's passion within psychology is exploring and conducting research focused on team dynamics and leadership. In the psychometrics course, she developed her own measure for leadership motivation. Her senior research project, "Pulling Your Weight: Locus of Control as a Moderator of Social Loafing," was presented virtually at a meeting of the Southeastern Psychological Association.
Talia was selected to serve as one of two psychology tutors at the Stetson Success Center during her junior and senior years and as a teaching assistant for abnormal psychology. She held leadership positions in both her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and in Stetson's chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. In addition to psychology, she earned a minor in management while competing as a member of the Business Ethics Team and completing an internship with a management consulting firm.
Talia will attend the University of Georgia in fall 2021 to pursue a doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology.
