Stella was a student peer instructor (SPI) in Biology for three years and a member of the Epsilon Theta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta all throughout college. She is also an Art History minor. Her senior research project examined the beliefs and attitudes of medical students toward Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Stella exhibited an exceptional level of dedication and commitment to her studies, achieving a perfect GPA at Stetson. As one faculty member commented, "It has been a genuine pleasure to have Stella in classes and work with her outside of the classroom. She contributes significantly and positively to all her endeavors." She is currently completing a Certified Nursing Aide course so she can work as a nursing assistant during her gap year. She plans to apply to University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Central Florida’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) programs. At this time, she is striving for a balance of productivity and relaxation during her gap year.
