Chemistry

A chemistry major and German minor, Savannah also served as a Stetson Student Ambassador, a member of the Student Conduct Board and a research assistant for Stetson's Institute of Water and Environmental Resilience. In summer 2021, she participated in a REU program at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she pursued a project involving the synthesis and characterization of fluorinated alkoxysilane block copolymers membranes for carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas separation.

Savannah plans to pursue a PhD degree in chemistry upon graduation, and she has already been accepted to attend programs at Brown University, Georgetown University, Tufts University and the University of Colorado-Boulder.
