As a health sciences major, with minors in Spanish and Asian studies, Royce has demonstrated outstanding academic performance and provided a valued service to the Stetson community. Royce is serving as a Resident Assistant on campus and as treasurer of the Organization for Native American Revitalization. He played an active and influential role as a program lead on the Stetson Health Promotion Team, advocating passionately for the improvement of health and wellness among members of the Stetson community.

Royce’s senior research project investigated the potential applications of IgY technologies in modifying the microbiota to address zonulin-dependent leaky gut. Royce plans to begin his graduate studies at the University of Central Florida in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

The Health Sciences Department is very proud to recognize his outstanding academic achievements and commendable community service and looks forward to seeing him excel in the field of physical therapy.
