Lucas Quinby

Lucas received the Emmett and Annie Ashcraft Award for outstanding junior in mathematics in 2022. He comments, "My biggest academic achievement was being awarded the Ashcraft Award, but the second biggest was passing Intro to Nutrition Science with a decent grade (it’s harder than it sounds!). Other than that, I’ve tried to spend as much time as I can enjoying the unique ecosystem that Stetson occupies...It’s been a wild four years!” Lucas spent much of his time on the Stetson Rowing Team, which involved a commitment to early morning practices and long days of travel to and from races. He was elected as one of the team’s captains for his senior year. The Men’s Varsity Rowing Team placed first in several races at the 2023 FIRA Championships, Sunshine State Invitational and IRA Sarasota Invitational.
