Lannie Dalton Hough III
A computer science major, Lannie Dalton Hough III served as a very engaged computer science tutor on campus, often helping fellow students beyond his scheduled hours. Lannie also was an officer of the Stetson Computer Science Club, helping to plan department events and guest speakers.
Teaming with other graduates, he helped to develop the app StetsonScene as part of a Green White, and You initiative to help students connect more easily to Cultural Credit events. He also was part of a group that submitted research to IEEE VIS (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Visualization Conference) to present an application that converts tabular data into graph form.
Lannie is currently contributing video tutorials for Cacti Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting computer science and related disciplines.
He will be working as a software engineer at JP Morgan Chase upon graduation and hopes to pursue a graduate degree in computer science.
