Kathryn Moran graduates as an exceptional biology major who did an intensive yearlong research project on the impacts of pentastome parasites on snake health. Her research is the first study that experimentally infected snakes with those parasites and compared their health to uninfected control snakes. 

In addition to snake wrangling, Kathryn is a Stetson Presidential Scholar, a class senator in the Student Government Association, a Panhellenic Counselor and a recipient of a Stetson Undergraduate Research Experience grant.

Following graduation, Kathryn will attend the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
