Karis Swank graduated in December 2019 and moved to Boston to pursue her teaching career. She interned in a kindergarten classroom, where she created a positive learning environment for all her students.
Karis' professors describe her as compassionate and caring, and someone who brings joy to her students through her thoughtfulness. Her senior research project focused on the impact of character education on students and teachers.
Karis, a member of Kappa Delta Pi, international honor society in education, loves teaching and is excited to continue her teaching career in Boston.
