Molecular Biology, Applied Mathematics
Jeffrey Lu has excelled in multiple areas. He majored in both molecular biology and applied Mathematics with a concentration in statistics, while playing with the Stetson football team. For his mathematical research, he investigated the Diffusive Flux of Biofilm according to Monod Kinetics. For his biological research, he investigated the Omega-3 modulated neural activity in the CA-3 and Dentate Gyrus regions of the hippocampus. During his time at Stetson, Jeffrey was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Societies.
After Stetson, Jeffrey intends to go to medical school to become a doctor.
