A Presidential Scholar in the honors program, Grace Paul exhibited great passion for criminology and the law, earning a criminology certificate with the sociology major. That passion also is reflected in her senior research project, "The Effects of Differential Association and Social Bonding on Adolescent 'Hard' and 'Soft' Drug Use.” A paper-based on her senior project was accepted for presentation at the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Southern Sociological Society.
Grace minored in accounting and served as an accounting and finance intern. A second internship was in the behavioral health field. As a student, each year she was on either the Dean’s List or Honor Roll. She held leadership roles on campus, including FOCUS leader and philanthropy chair of her sorority, which won Stetson’s Philanthropy Cup for 2018 for fundraising support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
