Connor Darby

World Languages and Cultures

Connor is an Honors student. He identifies his most notable achievements as studying in Aix-en-Provence in Fall 2022 and completing an internship exploring the quirks of academic libraries with the duPont-Ball Library in summer 2022. Connor comments, "What I've most appreciated at Stetson is spending time in a wonderful department with wonderful professors who take me seriously and were willing to take on the role of mentor/friend/confidant/ cheerleader/colleague. This has always been one of the most important parts of my Stetson experience and I'm looking forward to remaining friends with the smart, generous, and kind people who comprise the World Languages and Cultures department." Connor plans to take a gap year to continue working in libraries and pursue a master’s in library science beginning in Fall 2024 with the goal of becoming a librarian.
