Colby's professors have noted his exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and his ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Colby’s impressive work ethic and commitment to helping his fellow students succeed was clearly displayed in his work as a Stetson Peer Instructor (SPI) for organic chemistry. He went above and beyond to ensure that his mentees understood the material and provided invaluable support throughout the course. Colby's dedication to his studies is also evident in his senior research project, "Progress in Synthesis of SINE Drug Targets via an Enolate Reaction." He made important contributions to the project, both in terms of the synthesis he worked on and his intellectual insights. Colby's ability to think critically and creatively about complex chemical problems helped advance this project in important ways. As he prepares to graduate from Stetson, Colby's future is bright. He plans to pursue a career in chemistry and hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the field.
