Carolyn Koch

The eldest of five children, Carolyn is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She received honorable mention for an outstanding senior research poster at the Stetson Showcase Undergraduate Research and Creative Arts Symposium. During her studies, she has been a student peer instructor and teaching assistant for two anatomy and physiology classes. As one of her professors noted, "Carolyn is a dedicated and dependable student who works hard to ensure success. She is a leader in the classroom who likes to help others and will be an excellent medical practitioner." Carolyn has been accepted to Furman University where she will obtain a Master of Science degree in community engaged medicine. She is looking forward to working in Greenville, South Carolina’s hospital system to obtain hours of service and then apply to medical school. She looks forward to becoming a medical doctor, which has been a lifetime dream since she was five years old!
