Carissa Ali is an exceptional molecular biology major who is also graduating with a minor in psychology. Her senior research project investigated the effects of tastes on emotional centers in the brain. She was very active on campus, serving as a Resident Assistant for two years and as president of our pre-health student group (AED).
While at Stetson, Carissa worked as a medical scribe for the AdventHealth Medical Group, volunteered at the Good Samaritan Clinic and was a pharmacy technician. After graduation, she will continue to work at Publix as a pharmacy technician and will apply to pharmacy schools next year.
