Commencement Ceremony Tickets
Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony tickets will be available starting on Monday, Jan 27. The deadline to claim tickets is Friday, Feb. 14. Students must apply for graduation prior to claiming tickets. The deadline to apply for graduation is Monday, Feb. 10.
When students claim their tickets, they will be able to indicate a need for additional tickets, but those will not be available until a later date.
Eligible students from the School of Business Administration and School of Music will be able to receive up to seven (7) electronic tickets.
Eligible students from the College of Arts and Sciences will be able to receive five (5) electronic tickets.
Once the Feb. 14 deadline has passed, all unclaimed tickets will be forfeited and available for redistribution. Students who indicated a need for additional tickets will be entered into a lottery and will be notified via email if they are selected randomly by computer to receive additional tickets.
Random selection will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 19, and will conclude once all tickets are claimed.
Alternative viewing locations for family and friends will be available on campus in the Lynn Business Center, Rinker Auditorium and the Carlton Union Building, Stetson Room for both of the undergraduate ceremonies on Saturday, May 9.
College of Arts and Sciences bachelor's degree candidates are asked to arrive in regalia at 12:30 p.m. at the Hollis Center, Rinker Fieldhouse. In preparation for the processional, graduates will be placed in alphabetical order by the degree they are receiving. All personal belongings must accompany you to the ceremony, so it is suggested to limit the number of items.
Graduate Name Cards
At check-in, graduates will be provided with a yellow name card. Please fill in the pronunciation of your name, if needed, for the announcer. Complete the backside of the card with the information required by the photographer who will provide proofs after the ceremony. Do not lose, destroy or leave the card in your seat when it is time to line up for the processional. This yellow card will need to go with you to the Edmunds Center and will be given to the announcer on stage.
Faculty play an important role in the success of the commencement ceremony. It permits the community to recognize those who have contributed so greatly to the academic development and achievements of our graduates. All faculty are invited and encouraged to participate.
Faculty are asked to arrive in regalia at 1:00 p.m. to the Hollis Center, Rinker Fieldhouse. All personal belongings must accompany you to the ceremony, so it is suggested to limit the number of items.
Promptly at 1:40 p.m., faculty and graduates will line up outside the Hollis Center to begin their procession. Graduates will follow the degree gonfalon that they are receiving. The procession will proceed down Bert Fish Drive where the platform party will join them. Note - guests will be held in the Edmunds Center lobby at 1:45 p.m. to allow for the procession to enter the building.
As the procession enters the Edmunds Center, faculty and graduates will be seated on the floor seats in front of guests. Graduates will be announced on stage in alphabetical order for the degree they are receiving.

The ceremony will be closed captioned and shown on the screen adjacent to the stage.

Friends and Family
The Edmunds Center is fully accessible to all guests, with seating available both on the ground level and in permanent bleachers. Guests with disabilities or health concerns should make a reservation for floor seating (space is limited). Guests in this area will be allowed one companion to accompany them. Ushers will be available to direct guests to this location for those who have a confirmed reservation.

Commencement Parking Map
Please refer to the Commencement Parking Map for parking locations and directional information. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note - Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed beginning at 1:40 p.m. It is strongly suggested that you arrive early to allow time to locate parking and walk to the Edmunds Center.
Parking for persons with accessibility needs is available on the north side of the Edmunds Center. Cars parked in this area are required to display a disabled parking permit. Access to this area is on East Pennsylvania Avenue and Fraternity Circle. Officers will be available to offer direction.
A circular drive accessible from the East Pennsylvania Avenue and Fraternity Circle will be available for drivers to drop off persons with disabilities. Drivers will then be asked to move to the designated public parking areas.
Shuttles will run continuously from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to transport guests to and from the Edmunds Center. The shuttles will have stops at:
- Lynn Business Center
- Flagler Hall
- Edmunds Center
