New virtual Cultural Credit opportunity: Available any time

The duPont-Ball Library is offering a Cultural Credit opportunity with a 28-minute video on the life of Stetson alumnus Max Cleland (class of 1964). After graduating from Stetson, Max served in Vietnam and was severely wounded. Despite the lifelong disabilities resulting from his injuries, Max has led a full life of public service, including as a Georgia state senator, the head of the Veterans Administration, a U.S. senator, and the secretary of the American Battles Monuments Commission.

To earn Cultural Credit for “Take it to the Max! The Life and Career of Max Cleland, Stetson Class of 1964,” make sure you have accepted the invitation to join the duPont-Ball Library’s Canvas course. You may watch the video posted on Canvas any time this semester and answer the 10-question multiple-choice quiz (found under “Assignments” or “Quizzes”).  A score of 70% or higher earns Cultural Credit.  The library will report all credit earned to the Registrar’s Office once a week, so please allow time for the credit to be reported.

Questions should be directed to Sue Ryan, dean of the Library, at [email protected]
