Stetson starts on-campus construction projects, beginning Monday, May 10

Construction crews will start work Monday, May 10, to partially renovate Sage Hall and soon will replace the gymnasium wood floor in the Edmunds Center.

The Sage Hall renovations will be finished when students arrive in August for the Fall 2021 semester. The Edmunds Center floor is scheduled for completion by mid- to late August.

In June, Stetson also will break ground on the new Cici & Hyatt Brown Hall for Health & Innovation. The Browns, two longtime Stetson supporters and Trustees, donated $18 million in 2018 to construct the new health and science facility and expand those programs on the DeLand campus.

The new building will take 12 to 13 months to complete and will be attached to Sage Hall. It is expected to open for the Fall 2022 semester. More details about the project will be made available shortly.

The construction projects will require the closure of a few campus parking lots, including the lots behind the duPont-Ball Library and Sage Hall, and there will be pedestrian detours around the construction sites. For more information, click on the maps below.
