Marketing Content Coordinator

  • Semesterly student employment position (with the possibility of summer work)
  • Weekly Hours: five hours per week, office open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Flexible schedule (will work with class schedule, exam preparation and university holidays)
  • Paid Student Employment: $8.50/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CCE’s marketing content creation and social media presence while ensuring a cohesive brand
  • Create digital images, videos and physical advertisements on behalf of the CCE and community partners, as needed
  • Produce written content on behalf of the CCE for promotion on Stetson Today, the Stetson Announce, and the Stetson Reporter
  • Collaborate with the Director of Assessment, Involvement Intern and other CCE signature programs to create marketing content
    • Create monthly infographic of data collected by the Director of Assessment
    • Promote opportunities that are compiled by the Involvement Intern
    • Schedule, promote and deliver presentations on a monthly basis and when requested by members of the Stetson faculty/staff
    • Facilitate monthly Marketing Coalition meetings alongside student CCE signature program leaders
    • Assist with tabling events, including Hatter Saturday
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Undergraduate student in good academic standing
  • All applicants should possess and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Strong organizational capabilities, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience creating marketing materials or electronic communications; experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar programs preferred; proficiency in MS Office suite preferred
  • Motivation to work effectively and autonomously when necessary
  • Ability to work on a team with individuals from across Stetson’s campus and the DeLand community

  • This role will report directly to Ashley Martinez, Graduate Assistant: Community Partnerships & Operations Manager, for mentorship and assigned tasks
  • Opportunity to advance into the Director of Marketing and Outreach role in future semesters
