Kognito-Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training Available
Promoting the wellness, personal growth and academic success of our students is a community effort.
Student Counseling Services provides an online, interactive training that prepares faculty and staff to recognize signs of psychological distress that are barriers to student success, such as suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. I invite you to complete Kognito training, which will take 30-45 minutes to complete and provide you with valuable information about resources on campus.
To access Kognito, go to the My Job box on the Employee tab of my.stetson and click on Kognito At Risk for Faculty and Staff Suicide Prevention Training. This will launch the Kognito platform where you select the At-Risk for Faculty Staff box and click Launch.
If you have any technical issues with Kognito, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 646.923.8632. For any questions about the program, please contact our colleagues in Student Counseling Services at 386.822.8900 or via email at email@example.com.
