Moving back home? Donate unopened food to Hatter Pantry

Students who are leaving campus, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, can donate unopened food to the Hatter Pantry.

The Hatter Pantry is a confidential program, located in Student Counseling Services, that provides food and hygiene products to students in need. The pantry accepts non-perishable food items that are not opened or expired.

Students leaving campus can donate unopened food to the Hatter Pantry at:
Griffith Hall: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
University Hall: Monday-Friday, 4:30 p.m. – 8 a.m. and weekends, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Public Safety: Anytime

Nicole Currie, administrative specialist in counseling services, said there was an increase in students using the pantry at the beginning of the week, and two or three a day have been visiting on recent days.

Students can continue to use the pantry during Student Counseling Services office hours, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
