duPont-Ball Library Updates

Those of us who work in the duPont-Ball Library have always considered it our mission to serve the Stetson community and meet their information, research, study, and meeting space needs.  As we work day-by-day to follow CDC guidelines to protect our students, staff, and faculty, however, we must continually evaluate our operations.

Therefore, the duPont-Ball Library announces the following effective Friday, March 20, 2020:

Library access will be card swipe access only and limited to Stetson students, staff, and faculty.

Our hours will be:

Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Library hours may be changed as we re-evaluate.

We will have no in-person assistance except for checking out material. One person will be available to check out books and other physical materials.

All other requests for assistance will be met via phone or email ( or Skype.

The Innovation Lab and the Archives Office will be closed.

Only two to three library staff will be in the library on a rotating basis during open hours. All others will be working remotely.

Please consult our home page for many electronic resources (databases, e-journals and e-books), course guides, etc., to help you with your research and information needs:

The library faculty and staff will still be working to provide academic support to the Stetson community. Like our classes, however, this will have to be done using alternative virtual methods. We look forward to resuming normal operations as soon as possible.
