REMINDER: Training for Respondus, Qwickly, Collaborate Ultra, Ensemble Video & Blackboard 101

The Office of Online Learning and Educational Technology (OOLET) is offering training for our most popular technologies: Respondus LockDown Browser, Qwickly Attendance, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra and Ensemble Video. We are also offering Blackboard 101, a session designed to review Blackboard Basics for new users or those in need of a refresher. All faculty and staff members are invited to attend any session.

Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Blackboard. Students are unable to copy, print, access other applications or visit other websites during an online exam.

Qwickly Attendance is a Blackboard tool used to track and grade student attendance. Instructors can take attendance using an attendance list on screen or allow students to check in on their own browser, or use existing Student ID cards to check in when entering class.

Ensemble Video, Stetson’s video management system, is an online video–platform that streamlines video capture, management and publishing. Press here for Stetson-specific Ensemble information that includes instructions and training documentation.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that lets you add files, share applications and use a virtual whiteboard to interact. Collaborate with the Ultra experience opens right in your browser, so you don’t have to install any software to join a session.
