International Education Week Continues …

International Education Week (IEW) at Stetson University is Nov. 11 – 15! WORLD: The David and Leighan Rinker Center for International Learning is excited to share a variety of fun events throughout the week that highlights our global campus community. Most events offer Cultural Credit!

Each day, in front of the CUB, the WORLD Ambassadors are tabling with various international games, snacks, prizes and more! Stop by for a quick Language Speed Dating to see how quickly you can learn phrases in another language. We will also showcase our exciting Faculty Led Study Abroad Program offerings for this upcoming spring break and summer!

Don’t forget to stop by The Commons during breakfast and lunch this Friday for our International Kitchen Takeover! Several of Stetson’s international students contributed recipes from their home country and the history behind the dish to share with the Stetson Community.  Enjoy a Tortilla Espanola (Potato Omelet) for a Spanish breakfast. Come back later and enjoy pierogis with a sauce to die for and stuffed cabbage for a taste of Poland for lunch. Recipe cards are available in the Commons for those wanting to try cooking them at home.

Visit us on Facebook to vote in our Annual Photo Contest! Stop by @StetsonWORLD and vote before noon on Friday for your favorite photo! Two winners will be selected (one for study abroad and one international student on the DeLand campus).
