From Armed Conflict to Resilient Democracy: Paths to Stability in the Balkans

Brig. Gen. John Adams will examine different paths from armed conflict to resilient democracy in the Balkans since the Balkan wars of the early 1990s.

He retired from the U.S. Army in September 2007, after more than 30 years of active duty service. As the President of Guardian Six LLC, he assists clients in successfully analyzing national security issues and addressing U.S. and allied national security requirements. He was the lead author for the 2013 report Remaking American Security, which documented threats to our defense industrial base supply chains, published by the Alliance for American Manufacturing.
