Body Image & Eating Disorders Prevention Presentation: Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Michael Levine, an internationally recognized expert on body image and eating disorders prevention, will be giving a presentation titled, “Be the changes you wish to see in the culture:” 10 Principles for Becoming a Bolder Model of Eating Disorder Prevention on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stetson Room. The presentation will include practical strategies for empowering ourselves and others to build a body-positive community and resist unhealthy cultural messages about appearance. This event is free and open to the public, and Cultural Credit is available for students.

Dr. Levine’s visit is sponsored by the Artists & Lecturers Committee, the Gender Studies Program, Campus Life and Student Success, and the Brown Center for Faculty Innovation and Excellence.
